This apartment has an exquisite address: it is located next to the gorgeous Piazza Farnese which is dominated by the magnificent Palazzo Farnese – today home of the French Embassy.

Here you are in a perfect position to do most of the sightseeing by foot: behind Piazza Farnese lays the picturesque Campo de’ Fiori – the city’s most ‘multi-faceted’ piazza: a colourful, daily fresh fruit and vegetable market in the morning and the favourite place where people meet up in the evening.

Crossing Campo de’ Fiori, you reach Piazza Navona with Bernini’s masterpiece – The Fountain of the Four Rivers.

This awe-inspiring square is surrounded by beautiful terracotta buildings, among which is Borromini’s Church St. Agnese. Proceeding on for a couple of minutes, you will find yourself at the Pantheon – ‘The Temple of the Gods’ built 2000 years ago. From here you are ideally positioned to continue on to the legendary Trevi Fountain and to the world’s most famous stairway: the Spanish Steps.

Just opposite, there is the Via Condotti, where you can purchase luxury goods from the best Italian designer stores and boutiques.

Behind your apartment’s Palazzo, you find the picturesque Via Giulia: this beautiful alley is definitively worth a stroll – midst in the stunning buildings lined up on each side. At one end, there is the charming pedestrian bridge Ponte Sisto crossing the river Tiber and leading directly into the popular district Trastevere – which means “on the other side of the Tiber”.

This neighbourhood is Rome’s bohemian ‘hot-spot’ for pubs, trattorias, pizzerias, galleries, and boutiques. Proceeding through Via Giulia to the opposite direction, you reach St. Peter’s and the spectacular Vatican Museum with Michelangelos’s Frescos in the Sistine Chapel within 15 minutes.
