Neighbourhood:

This apartment is really close to the Spanish Steps: the world’s most famous stairway. They are used also as a cat-walk where Italy’s designers present their latest creations to the public in a spectacular atmosphere.

Furthermore, you are not only situated in midst of the Garden Eden for shopping around Via dei Condotti and Via del Corso, but you can also do most of the sightseeing by foot. Within 5 minutes, you reach Piazza del Popolo with one of the city’s 13 obelisks in the centre of the square.

Just around the corner of your Roman home, you can stroll through the gallery lined Via Margutta, which enchants you with its artist’s flair or “sink” into the green of Rome’s most popular park, the Villa Borghese.

Passing by the Spanish Steps, you reach the legendary Trevi Fountain within 10 minutes. Don’t forget to toss a coin over your shoulder into the fountain to reassure your return to the Eternal City…

From here, another milestone of Rome’s long history is just a stone’s throw away: the Pantheon, the temple dedicated to the main Gods and Goddesses more than 2000 years ago. Proceeding on for another couple of minutes you find yourself at the marvellous Piazza Navona where you can admire the beautiful “Bernini” fountains; from here you just cross the street to reach Campo de’ Fiori where you can buy delicious Italian fresh fruit and vegetables at the daily market.

To visit the ancient part of Rome you can either walk for about 20 minutes from your door or you step on one of the electric buses (117) that bring you to Rome’s landmark: the Colosseum.

Furthermore, there is a metro station 3 minutes from your apartment where you can take the metro to reach St. Peter’s and the Vatican Museums within 3 stops.
