Rome
The apartment is located in Via Crescenzio.
Here, your sightseeing tour can start; a stone’s throw away from your apartment is the legendary Castel Sant’Angelo which you can easily get to by crossing over one of Rome’s most romantic bridges - the Ponte Sant’Angelo.
From here you can proceed up the gracious Via della Conciliazione to Saint Peter’s, and then move on to the world’s most famous museum: the Vatican Museum which contains Michelangelo’s masterpiece, the Sistine Chapel.
Strolling along this charming street, you can reach the magnificent Piazza Navona in less then five minutes: here you can admire Bernini's famous “Four Rivers” Fountain and Borromini's Baroque masterpiece, the Church of Sant'Agnese in Agone. If you continue your stroll for a couple of minutes more, you will find yourself at the Pantheon – ‘The Temple of
the Gods’. From here you are ideally positioned to continue on to Piazza di Spagna and Via Condotti where you can purchase luxury goods from the best Italian designer stores and boutiques.
Also next to Piazza Navona you find Campo de’ Fiori, Rome’s most famous fresh fruit and veg market. In addition to this the piazza also boasts many excellent traditional, Roman restaurants, offering charming, ‘al-fresco’ dining, as well as numerous bars, pubs and gelaterias for those who wish to just ‘sink’ into the atmosphere.
Proceeding from here into the picturesque alleyway, Via Giulia, you can then cross over the river Tiber and find yourself in Trastevere: Rome's bohemian ‘hot-spot’ for pubs, trattorias, pizzerias, galleries, and boutiques.
San Peter
A spacious, comfortable, secure apartment on the third floor (with elevator) of an elegant 19th century building.
Just in front of Sant'Angelo Castle, at a walking distance from St. Peter Cathedral and Vatican Museum, and - just crossing the bridge - a few steps from Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. From there the most important historical sights of the Eternal City can be reached with a short walk.
Of course, since that's a delightful very central neighbourhood, it has a good connection with public transportation and it is well served by a variety of local cafes, good restaurants, supermarkets, and delicatessens stores. There is a welcoming Italian cafè for breakfast or lunch only a few steps from the building. For those who relish cooking, a large fresh products market (Via Cola di Rienzo) is at 5 minutes walk.
The apartment was recently completely renovated. Everything is new, neat and tidy and, as you can see from the pictures, it has been furnished in a modern and high quality style. It consists of a double bedroom (queen-size bed), a living room with a very comfortable double sofa (queen-size bed), a bathroom with shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, coffee/espresso machine, gas stove with microwave, fridge/freezer unit, hot water boiler as well as all the other necessary appliances.
The apartment has reverse cycle air conditioning, parquet, washing machine, cell phone with rechargeable Italian SIM card (for journeys of at least two weeks), 2 LCD TVs, Sat TV; ADSL Wi-Fi internet connection keeps you in touch with your family and friends.
The place is very quiet and safe day and night: an ideal residence for one couple or a family up to 5 (one more bed can be added), wishing to enjoy either short or long stays. The bedroom has been soundproofed to provide you with a peaceful stay.
