Pallaro

With its proximity to the city’s most ‘multi-faceted’ piazza, Campo de’ Fiori, this apartment offers you the chance to truly partake in “real Roman life”.
Beginning at dawn, this historic piazza undertakes the first of its many ‘transformations’: into the city’s most famous fruit and veg market. Here the stall-holders set up their stands with real artistry to display the vast array of delicious, fresh produce; whilst on the corner of the square, you can find the famous bakery, “Il Forno”, which offers one of the city’s very best Pizza Bianca.
In the afternoon – the stall-holders having shut up shop for the day – the piazza takes on another air: becoming a space where children play ball and people sit relaxing in the street-side cafés.
In the evening, the Piazza ‘clothes’ itself for the night and becomes a lively focal point for both old and young alike. In addition to playing host to one of Rome’s oldest cinemas, the piazza also boasts many excellent traditional, Roman restaurants, offering charming, ‘al-fresco’ dining, as well as numerous bars, pubs and gelaterias for those who wish to just ‘sink’ into the atmosphere.
Next to Campo de’ Fiori lies Piazza Farnese which is dominated by the magnificent Palazzo Farnese – today home of the French Embassy. Proceeding from here into the picturesque alleyway, Via Giulia, you can then cross over the river Tiber and find yourself in Trastevere: Rome's bohemian ‘hot-spot’ for pubs, trattorias, pizzerias, galleries, and boutiques.
On the opposite side of Campo dei Fiori you will find Piazza Navona with Bernini's masterpiece - The Fountain of the Four Rivers - and be surrounded by beautiful terracotta buildings among which is Borromini's Church St. Agnese.
If you continue your stroll for a couple of minutes more, you will find yourself at the Pantheon – ‘The Temple of the Gods’. From here you are ideally positioned to continue on to Piazza di Spagna and Via Condotti where you can purchase luxury goods from the best Italian designer stores and boutiques.
Saint Peter’s is only a 15 minute walk from your door.
It is here you can visit one of the world's most famous and spectacular museums: The Vatican Museum with Michelangelo's Frescos in the Sistine Chapel.
Piazza Largo del Pallaro is in the center of historical Rome very close to the Campo de’Fiori, in the famous open-air market where guests can buy fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, bread, fish and herbs and spices to take back as present for friends or for their kitchen. Nearby is the Piazza Navona, Pantheon and Piazza Farnese Nice and safe oplaces where make a stroll also in the evening.
